Raised in Port Townsend, Washington, Daline’s musical journey began at an early age and evolved into a multifaceted career as a violin and viola soloist, chamber musician, educator, and advocate for classical music.

A proud graduate of Port Townsend High School’s Class of 1990, Daline’s early years were marked by his exceptional talent on the violin. He quickly became a fixture in the local music scene, performing as Concertmaster and First Violin with the Port Townsend Orchestra and as First Violin with the Port Angeles Symphony. Daline successfully auditioned for the prestigious role of Principal Violin and First Violin with the Seattle Youth Symphony (1988-1990). Throughout his youth, he garnered numerous accolades, including being the first top-prize winner of the Kiwanis “Stars of Tomorrow Competition” in 1988. He also earned spots in the All-State and All-Northwest Orchestra Festivals in 1987 and 1988, was the winner of the Port Angeles Young Artists Competition in 1986, and was a finalist in the Washington State Music Educators Solo Competition. From 1986 to 1990, Daline’s summer was spent at classical music festivals throughout Washington, further honing his craft.

After his academic training, Daline’s career skyrocketed with a career-defining debut in New York’s iconic Carnegie Hall, where he performed as the winner of the Artists International Competition.
