The first class to graduate from Port Townsend High School was in 1891. Six years later, six young women from the class of 1897 met to organize the Port Townsend High School Alumni Association. This organization has been meeting nearly every year since then. The PTHS Alumni Association is one of the oldest in the nation, which meets yearly. The PTHS Alumni Banquet is always the 2nd weekend in June.
